Apple · iPhone
Honest 2026 pricing for iPhone screen, battery, back glass and charging-port repairs. Independent-shop ranges, what authorised service costs, and whether DIY is worth it — model by model.
What makes iPhones different
Authorised Apple service is the most expensive route for almost every iPhone repair — typically 30–55% above a reputable independent shop using OEM-grade or quality aftermarket parts. The trade-off is genuine: authorised repairs keep Face ID and True Tone calibration guaranteed, and matter if the device is under AppleCare.
From the iPhone 14 onward, Apple moved to a back-glass-first chassis that made battery and rear-glass repairs noticeably cheaper and more DIY-friendly. Pre-14 models (13, 12, SE) are cheaper to buy parts for but the screen-first teardown is fiddlier. We note the difficulty on every model page.
