By city

Local prices, local techs.

Phone repair pricing varies more by city than by phone model — sometimes 30% for the same job. Pick yours for honest 2026 independent-shop ranges and where in the city the same repair costs less.

Methodology

How city pricing is gathered

City pricing ranges are built from our per-model research plus the local-market factors that move price: rent variation across the metro, competition density, part lead times, and climate-driven fault patterns. They reflect what reputable independent shops charge for OEM-grade or quality aftermarket parts.

We exclude promotional "from $X" teaser rates that aren't honoured in store, and quotes for low-grade parts unless explicitly disclosed. Authorised service centres typically run 30–55% above these independent ranges.

RepairRange is editorially independent and doesn't take payment for placement. The Newcastle guide is the exception worth noting: our Hunter-region research draws on hands-on bench experience, and we name a workshop there — disclosed on that page.
