Ranges reflect 2026 surveyed AU metro pricing. Genuine Samsung service-pack screens are available through AU parts suppliers.
Common issues
After thousands of Samsung repairs, these are the failures we see most often on this generation. Use the troubleshooting library for symptom-by-symptom diagnostics.
Cracked display (6.7" flat AMOLED is less corner-fragile than older curved Ultras but still the priciest part)
Under-display fingerprint sensor failure after a budget screen replacement
USB-C port wear / intermittent charging
Battery degradation (4,900mAh driving a 6.7" always-on display)
DIY note
The S25+ is more approachable than the S25 Ultra — flat display, aluminium frame (not titanium), no S Pen complications. But the same Samsung-specific risk applies: the under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor must be preserved during the screen swap. Budget aftermarket panels may break the fingerprint sensor entirely — genuine service-pack screens preserve it, quality aftermarket usually does, budget often doesn't. Confirm the part grade with your supplier before ordering.
